Starting out in business

Being of the entrepreneurial type and having very recently graduated from college, it was with great interest that I read Ross Mayfield’s answers to this question:
“If you were about to graduate from college and had an interest in becoming an entrepreneur, what would you do?”
I have at least 3 half-baked business plans on my mind right now. There is a business plan competition i am checking out, with the deadline of April 30th. Should be an interesting two months…
