My birthday has been a nice day. It was really hot today, like an august day, so hot that at one point i actually started looking forward to the next few months when it will be cool and snowy. I guess that thought won’t stay around for much longer than this day, though… :)
Anyway, as a nice birthday present i received the magazine that a friend bought me in Canada (the one about orca whales), and i also *finally* received the september/october issue of Utne Reader which should have been here for almost 2 months now… So i was reading a lot today… I also went and took photos of the city that i procrastinated doing for such a long time. :) I also had coffee in a coffee place, alhough not my favourite one, because that was crowded and i didn’t feel like being in a very busy place. I also had cherry pancakes… Yum!!
It was fun to watch all the borthday messages roll in in my inbox… from websites like www.newbeetle.de where i registered ages ago, and many other websites where i am registered. :) Two of the websites i use to send e-cards, well, they sent ecards to me today! Fun! My Mom got me my favourite kind of cake for dinner. :)
I also did mundane stuff like watch the news on CNN and do research for my marketing papers. But i did skip school today… :)
