I purchased a monthly pass to a very funky fitness centre today and participated in my first workout too!!! And it felt soooooo good! YAY! New year, new me. (yeah right... :) )

Christmas Eve

It's 12.47am on christmas day. Why is it that this evening seems so tranquil and calm? After dinner i looked at my christmas presents a bit, but then came back to my room and did stuff that i didn't do for the past month or so, i picked up nervousness LMAOs and worked on them, i posted to mailing lists i neglected lately, and when i got sleepy instead of picking up all the day's stuff from my bed and dumping it on the floor, i started putting everything to it's own place, without having to remind myself to do so. I stopped at the bookshelf to pick up a random book and read a bit. Then put it back. Things that i rarely do on normal days. But why is that? Maybe it's the thought in the back of my mind that this evening IS the evening where you don't have to worry about anything, because you can't do anything else than be home and be happy. No public transport to go somewhere with, no stores open to go to, no friends to call to go out, etc. I am posting this in order to somehow create a reminder for this moment. I hope i can remember this feeling during the rest of the year, the 364 days when the evenings are not so tranquil.

I passed the resit of

I passed the resit of the controlling exam so this was officially the LAST class that i had to take where i had to use a calculator. YAY!!!!

Next exam is January 7th, so i have time to relax and enjoy the holidays. I am finishing making christmas presents (handmade books) tonight, so i don't have time to write any more right now.

So i failed the controlling

So i failed the controlling final. :( I have to retake it next Wednesday, which is very very annoying because i already have an exam that day at 5pm, so i will have to study for both at the same time. I still have lots of lots of stuff that i have to hand in this week, so the blog will be quite lonely this week too, but next Wednesday everything is finally over and i will be able to actually go christmas shopping (yikes), and do more fun stuff, like go skating...

A Starbucks clone coffee place opened in Budapest and they have mochas and frapuccinos (called something else of course). The place is called "Stardust" and i picked up their brochure that says "Stardust wants to plant the seed of coffee culture in Budapest" which is quite upsetting because actually Budapest has a centuries old coffee culture, and what Stardust brings to it is coffee unculture or something... but I am gonna try it tomorrow, and a detailed report will follow! :)

Yikes, school is busy as

Yikes, school is busy as hell and my brain hurts. I hope i pass this stupid controlling class or i am in big trouble. Results on Tuesday.
